Driven to improve skin health - a lifelong passion and a necessity. Midway through her career as a beauty executive, master and celebrity esthetician, and educator, Karen Ballou found herself up against an unthinkable battle: cancer. Diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, she underwent chemotherapy. Treatment took a toll on her skin, and on her journey back to health, she became increasingly passionate about skin immunity.
